We Walk the Woods

Every Wednesday, 10:00am – 12:00pm

Meet at headquarters (305 Middleton Rd.) Join the Park Interpreter and volunteer leaders for a slow paced walk through the forest while enjoying nature at its finest. Each week we hike to a different part of the forest for a series of 12 hikes. Recommend bringing water, insect repellent, sun screen, binoculars and camera. Rain or shine! Appropriate for children over 6 years old.

Join the Friends of Harold Parker for a roadside clean-up event in Harold Parker. We'll meet at campground on Jenkins Rd in Andover. Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Please come out and bring a friend!

Getting To Know The Forest Hike: North Reading Part 2

Come explore the two halves of North Reading’s portion of Parker Forest. The first hike in the southern half features a beautiful grove of red pines planted by the CCC, and winding paths through the oak forest. The second hike in the northern half features the hidden jewel of Bradford Pond and one of the highest hills in Long Hill.
